The company was founded in 1891 Italy, when Gennaro Sferra first set foot on the cross-Atlantic steamer which would carry him to America. It was a family history of craftsmanship that enabled him to sell the exquisite handmade lace that would become his future.

DIAMANTE BY SFERRA 

Diamante is our finest Egyptian cotton sateen woven to a silky 590 threads per square inch and finished with a narrow satin ribbon and macramé lace inset. Diamante is embellished with a narrow satin ribbon threaded through the center of a macramé lace border, and finished with delicate hemstitching. It is this attention to detail and understated elegance that distinguishes Sferra. The lace is inset ito beautifully silken 590 thread count Egyptian cotton sateen sheets woven in Italy for an ethereal night's sleep. Offered in sheets, pillowcases and shams with flanged edge, duvet covers with knife edge corners.
